The second day was the most physically challenging, we hiked two mountains, Firescrew and mount Cardigan. Firescrew, even though not a tall, was even more challenging than Cardigan, mostly because there was like a path from Firescrew to the top of Cardigan. We took a short break half way, but the sandwhiches were pretty gross. On the top of Cardigan was a firetower, it was aproxitmitly 20ft from the summit, which was almost all rock, with some vegatation. Cardigan is in North, NH, which makes it in the colder region of NH. It rains often near Cardigan.
